Introducing a new style of memorial book system that is available as an exclusive member benefit to the FDANZ members. The system includes a hard-cover premium quality memorial or guest books, a unique professional binding solution and access to relevant modern online templates. The system allows the funeral home (large or small) to provide a professional photo book style, personalised memento that would be produced cost-effectively — internally.
Introducing “In Loving Memory Of”
Currently, there are 10 different memorial cover designs available. These include options that include windows or not, gloss or matt finish and a bespoke printed design is also available. These books will be branded discreetly with the FDANZ logo and can include your funeral home logo on the back.
The online templates are accessed via a login area. No technical capabilities are required, and the templates allow drag and drop features with automatic sizing. The templates are relevant and growing.
The online system generates a PDF file that the member firm can choose to print internally or if their machine is not capable of printing quality photos they can take the file to the local print shop to have the pages printed and then bind the book internally. If the funeral home printing machine is capable of printing quality photos then they can choose to print on their own paper or use the recommended photo and guest sign-in paper.
The process to bind the book is simple — the binding machine is automatic and takes less than 3 minutes to professionally bind a photo style book. Collect all the pages together (personal information, photo pages, guest sign in pages), slip in the chosen cover, place in the binding machine, press start, move the book to the cooling area — finished. Less than 3 minutes.
What is then produced is a cost-effective premium quality memorial book (is easily duplicated for other family members) which will provide ongoing sales and marketing opportunities for FDANZ member firms.
